A hands-on adult CPR skills training course which teaches how to call for and work with EMS, care for conscious and unconscious choking victims, perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults ages 12 and up, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Students receive a 1-year Adult CPR w/AED certifications.

This course is designed for sports coaches, whether it is little league, high school students or professional athletes. Designed by the American Red Cross and the US Olympic Committee (USOC), this course uses a combination of sports-specific video examples and hands-on skills practice to give students the knowledge and ability necessary to increase the safety of athletes in a sports environment. You’ll learn to care for a variety of medical emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, musculosketeletal injuries, sudden undiagnosed illness, as well as when and how to move an athlete in an emergency situation. Students will receive a 3-year Sports Injury Prevention, 3-year First Aid certification, 1-year AED with Child CPR, a 200-page reference handbook and 75 page workbook.
Exclusively for youth age 11 to 15 years old, this course teaches skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Using a combination of video, discussion, role-play and hand-on skill practice, it will show you how to Respond to emergencies and illnesses with first aid and other appropriate care. make decisions under pressure, communicate with parents to learn household rules, recognize safety and hygiene issues, manage young children, and confidently feed, diaper and care for infants. Students will receive a non-expiring Babysitters Training Certificate, handy reference book and reference CD-ROM.
A combined course consisting of Babysitter’s Training on Saturday and Infant/Child CPR on Sunday afternoon. This course, while containing a lot of material, is approached in a fun, interactive manner and is exclusively for youth age 11 to 15 years old. Students will receive a non-expiring Babysitters Training Certificate and a 1-year Infant/Child CPR Certificate.

In addition, CPR and first aid skills for Dogs are taught through hands-on practice on dog manikins. Each student will receive a Pet First Aid Attendance Certificate and a complimentary Red Cross First Aid for Dogs guide.

Each session consists of a video segment, information from a workbook and open discussion.
In this defensive driving course, you will learn to recognize the need for and benefits of defensive driving be able to identify risky driving attitudes and behaviors. You will also be taught techniques you can use to maintain control in adverse driving situations and be presented with driving skills and techniques to use in avoiding collisions and violations caused by vehicle or driving conditions. You will also become familiar with the skills and techniques that allow you to avoid collisions and violations, and you will learn to spot the common types of driving errors that contribute to collisions. Students will receive a National Safety Council Certificate which entitles them to a 10% discount on their insurance and allow them to remove up to four points from their license.
Designed exclusively for young drivers between the ages of 16 and 24, this course will teach them how to take responsibility for their driving behavior. This course uses video, discussion, and role-play designed to help them understand how inexperience, distractions, and peer pressure cause unique driving hazards, how speeding, alcohol, and "party drugs" greatly increase their risk of injury or death, and how, as a driver or passenger, they can greatly reduce their risk by taking control.

This course encourages driver involvement and interaction in the learning process. This non-lecture, participant centered format allows both experienced and new drivers to identify with the material and safe driving concepts presented. Throughout the course, drivers are encouraged to employ their reasoning and critical thinking skills to arrive at responses to questions and traffic situations that reflect the challenges they are faced with while driving a school bus.
Designed to comply with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, this course teaches both defensive driving techniques and safe passenger assistance procedures. Through individual and "Driver Learning Team" exercises, group discussion, and hands-on demonstrations, students learn about vehicle inspection procedures, handling a passenger pick-up site, defensive driving skills and techniques, maintaining a cushion of safety, backing conditions, passenger assistance procedures, effective communication skills, assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle, safe lift procedures, and securing passengers within the vehicle.
